What is inappropriate speed?

A)The speed permitted on the road.
B)The speed that does not exceed the maximum speed limit for the road.
C)The speed that does not adapt to traffic, road, or driver conditions.Correct
When we travel at a speed that does not adapt to weather conditions or to the circumstances of the road, traffic, vehicle, or driver, we are travelling at an inappropriate speed. It is possible that the speed at which we are travelling is within the permitted limits for the road but that, in a problematic situation, we have great difficulty controlling the vehicle. For example, on rainy days more accidents tend to occur because many drivers travel at the same speed as on a sunny day — that is, they travel at a permitted but inappropriate speed for rainy conditions.
