C)In the right-hand lane as a general rule.Correct
On carriageways with three or more lanes in each direction, vehicles shall normally travel in the rightmost lane, and may use the next one only when traffic or road conditions advise it, but always on the condition of not impeding the progress of vehicles behind. Lorries, vans or special vehicles with a maximum authorised mass exceeding 3,500 kg, and vehicle combinations more than 7 metres in length, shall travel in the right-hand lane, and may exceptionally use the next one but never the remaining lanes.
