Is it compulsory to carry a reflective vest in a passenger car for the passenger?
A)No, the reflective vest is not compulsory for passenger cars.
B)Yes, as they must put it on if they get out of the vehicle and occupy the carriageway on an interurban road.
C)No.Correct
Both day and night, drivers of passenger cars, buses, goods transport vehicles, adaptable mixed vehicles and non-agricultural vehicle combinations, when occupying the carriageway or hard shoulder on interurban roads, must wear an approved reflective vest. They are also required to put it on before getting out of the vehicle and not once they are already on the carriageway or hard shoulder.
Only one vest is required to be carried in our vehicle, so the one for the passenger is optional.
