Can a child whose height does not exceed 1.35 m occupy the front seat of a car?

A)No, never.
B)Yes, always using an approved restraint device.
C)Yes, exceptionally when the vehicle has no rear seats and always using an approved restraint device.Correct
Minors whose height is equal to or less than 1.35 m must compulsorily occupy the rear seats of the vehicle, always using an approved restraint device appropriate for their height and weight.

There are three exceptions under which minors who do not reach that height may travel in the front seat:
1. When the vehicle has no rear seats.
2. When all rear seats are already occupied by minors with the same physical conditions and it is therefore not feasible to fit all the required child seats at that moment.
3. When it is not possible to install child restraint systems in those seats.

In the event that they occupy the front seat and the vehicle is fitted with a front airbag, they may only use rearward-facing restraint systems if the airbag has been deactivated.

When the height of the minors exceeds 1.35 m, they may occupy the front seat using the adult seatbelt.
