In the field of traffic, not all of us have the same probability of being involved in an accident. There are certain population groups that, due to their characteristics, are more prone to suffering an accident and are therefore called vulnerable groups.
These groups could be considered to include young drivers, moped and motorcycle riders, cyclists, pedestrians, older people both as drivers and pedestrians, and children.
