The hazard warning light or signal is used to signal and warn of the danger temporarily posed by a vehicle affected by a breakdown, accident, load spillage or any other emergency on urban and interurban roads, both day and night and whether the vehicle is stationary or in motion, but not to signal a stop or parking.
