As speed increases...

A)it is less dangerous to drive.
B)it is easier to control the vehicle.
C)it is more difficult to control the vehicle.Correct
As speed increases:
- The useful field of vision decreases, which is known as the tunnel effect (we only see the centre of the road clearly, losing peripheral vision). This also occurs with alcohol.
- We have less capacity to see and analyse what is happening around us, so the capacity for attention and reaction decreases. As a result, the reaction distance increases (the metres the vehicle travels while we react, which depends on reaction time and speed) as does the stopping distance (from when we see an obstacle or hazard until the vehicle comes to a complete stop).
- The injuries that can be suffered in an accident will be more serious.
- It increases tension, accelerates fatigue, and increases aggressive behaviour.
