In which seat should a two-year-old child travel?
A)In the front or rear seat, always using the seatbelt.
B)In the front or rear seat, always using an approved device adapted to their height and weight.
C)In the rear seat, always using an approved device adapted to their height and weight.Correct
Minors whose height is equal to or less than 1.35 m must compulsorily occupy the rear seats of the vehicle, always using an approved restraint device appropriate to their height and weight.
There are three exceptions under which minors who do not reach that height may travel in the front seat: 1. When the vehicle has no rear seats.
2. When all rear seats are already occupied by minors with the same physical conditions and it is therefore not feasible to fit all the required seats at that moment.
3. When it is not possible to install child restraint systems in those seats.
If we install a rearward-facing child restraint device in the front seat, we must be able to deactivate the airbag.
When minors' height exceeds 1.35 m, they may occupy the front seat using the adult seatbelt.
