The effect of blood alcohol reaches its maximum level...

A)two hours after having the last drink.
B)immediately after having the last drink.
C)between 30 and 90 minutes after consuming alcohol.Correct
Alcohol can be detected in the blood 5 minutes after ingestion. Blood alcohol rises rapidly until it reaches its maximum level, called the blood alcohol peak, between 30 and 90 minutes after consumption.

The maximum permitted blood alcohol levels are:
- Professional drivers and novice drivers (first 2 years of their licence): 0.15 milligrams per litre in exhaled air or 0.30 grams per litre in blood.
- All other drivers (including cyclists and personal mobility vehicle users): 0.25 milligrams per litre in exhaled air or 0.50 grams per litre in blood.
IMPORTANT: even if you drive with a level below the maximum, it is already possible to have an accident due to the effects of alcohol (the only safe level is 0.0 g/l).
