Fatigue involves a decrease in the driver's performance capacity, that is, in the ability to drive at normal safety levels. Physical fatigue manifests itself through tiredness of the muscles or the body in general. Mental fatigue manifests itself through a reduction in the ability to concentrate and to perceive stimuli received from the surroundings.
