When may children start using standard seat belts?
A)From a height of 1.50 m.
B)From the age of 12, even if they are less than 1.35 m tall.
C)From a height exceeding 1.35 m.Correct
Minors whose height is equal to or less than 1.35 m must compulsorily occupy the rear seats of the vehicle, always using an approved restraint device appropriate to their height and weight.
There are three exceptions under which minors who do not reach that height may travel in the front seat:
1. When the vehicle has no rear seats.
2. When all rear seats are already occupied by minors with the same physical conditions and it is therefore not feasible to fit all the required child seats at that time.
3. When it is not possible to install child restraint systems in those seats.
When the height of the minors exceeds 1.35 m, they may occupy the front seat using the adult seat belt.
