Is an articulated vehicle a combination of vehicles?

A combination of vehicles is a motor vehicle to which a trailer or semi-trailer has been hitched or coupled. Depending on the type of trailer or semi-trailer, we refer to it as a road train or an articulated vehicle. In the former, the motor vehicle is hitched to the trailer, whereas in the latter, the articulated vehicle, the motor vehicle is coupled to the trailer.
