Can a novice driver have dark curtains on the rear window of the vehicle?
A)Yes.
B)No.
C)Yes, having two exterior rear-view mirrors, one on the right and one on the left.Correct
It is prohibited to drive with tinted or coloured glass that is not approved.
It must be remembered that, in any case, the glazed surface of the vehicle must allow the driver clear visibility over the entire road on which he is travelling, especially forwards, to the right and to the left, without interference from films or stickers. Therefore, the windscreen and the front side windows cannot be tinted or covered with films. Only adhesive films or sun curtains are allowed on the rear windows and, for this, the vehicle must have two exterior rear-view mirrors.
A novice driver, like any other driver, may have curtains on the rear window of his vehicle as long as he has the right exterior rear-view mirror fitted, since through the interior he will not have sufficient visibility. The left rear-view mirror is always mandatory.
