Irregular wear of a tyre will be due to...

A)Pressure too high.
B)Pressure too low.
C)Faulty shock absorbers.Correct
When the wear is irregular, it is due to faulty shock absorbers and we should go to the workshop for an inspection.

* With pressure lower than indicated by the manufacturer:
- They wear more on the edges.
- They deform and heat up more.
- The risk of a blowout increases.
- Grip decreases and the risk of aquaplaning increases (the tyres cannot displace the layer of water on the road and lose grip).
- Fuel consumption increases.

* With pressure higher than indicated by the manufacturer:
- They wear more in the centre.
- The contact area with the road and grip decrease.
- They do not absorb terrain irregularities well (they vibrate more and the suspension deteriorates).
