In which of the cited cases will we use the high-beam or main-beam lights?
A)On insufficiently illuminated town crossings.
B)On sufficiently illuminated motorways.
C)On insufficiently illuminated motor vehicle roads.Correct
High-beam or main-beam lights cannot be used on town crossings since they are considered urban roads and their use is prohibited. On a motorway, if the road is sufficiently illuminated, it will not be necessary to use them since we will have good visibility.
On motor vehicle roads that are insufficiently illuminated, when there is no risk of dazzling other road users, we should indeed use them.

HIGH-BEAM LIGHT
High-beam or main-beam lights must be used by vehicles equipped with them when driving at more than 40 km/h:
- Between sunset and sunrise, on insufficiently illuminated interurban roads.
- At any time of the day, in tunnels, underpasses and stretches of road affected by the Tunnel sign, insufficiently illuminated.
However, the low-beam or dipped-beam light shall be used by:
- Vehicles that do not have high-beam light.
- Those driving with high-beam light that may dazzle other users.
When driving at a speed not exceeding 40 km/h, low-beam or high-beam lights may be used.
It is forbidden to use the high-beam light with the vehicle stopped, parked or within a built-up area.
