Is it mandatory to carry a first aid kit?

Although it is not mandatory, it is advisable to carry a first aid kit with gloves, compresses, bandages, gauzes, sterile dressings, a large handkerchief, adhesive tape, scissors, tweezers, safety pins and some disinfectant solution.
