If a truck and a passenger car meet on a very narrow stretch of road with no priority signs, which vehicle will pass first?
A)The passenger car, because its dimensions are smaller.
B)The passenger car, because it has less difficulty passing.
C)The truck if there is doubt as to which vehicle entered first.Correct
On a very narrow stretch of road, where there is no priority signage, the vehicle that entered first will have right of way.
In case of doubt as to who entered first, priority will be given to the vehicle with the greater difficulty manoeuvring. The order of priority among the different types of vehicles when one of them has to reverse is as follows:
1. Special vehicles and special transports exceeding the established masses or dimensions.
2. Vehicle combinations, except those in point 4.
3. Animal-drawn vehicles.
4. Passenger cars towing trailers of up to 750 kilograms MAM and motorhomes.
5. Vehicles for the collective transport of passengers (buses).
6. Trucks, tractor-trucks and vans.
7. Passenger cars and passenger-car derivatives.
8. Special vehicles not exceeding the established masses or dimensions, quadricycles and light quadricycles.
9. Three-wheeled vehicles, motorcycles with sidecars and three-wheeled mopeds.
10. Motorcycles, two-wheeled mopeds and bicycles.
When vehicles are of the same type or of a type other than those listed above, priority will be decided in favour of the one that has to reverse the greatest distance.
