In a traffic accident with injured persons, after securing the accident site we must call the emergency services for help (112), and then carry out a general assessment of all the victims to determine which one is in the most serious condition; we will check that they are conscious, breathing or have a pulse. As a general rule, injured persons must not be moved, and under no circumstances should we give them food or drink, even if they themselves ask for it.
