During the day, in dense fog or heavy rain, can you drive with the main beam on?

A)No, the main beam can only be turned on at night.
B)Yes, but it is advisable to turn on the dipped beam.Correct
C)No, only the dipped beam can be turned on.
The main beam may be used as long as we do not dazzle other road users and we are not in a built-up area.
The problem is that in dense fog we may not be able to see other users on the road and end up dazzling them or even dazzling ourselves, since fog consists of suspended droplets and the light beam can bounce off these droplets.
In heavy rain something similar happens — the light is often reflected off the road markings and becomes a nuisance.
The ideal is to switch on the dipped beam or the corresponding fog light.
FRONT FOG LIGHT:
- Its installation and use is NOT compulsory.
- It shall be white or selective yellow.
- It shall be used voluntarily in the case of fog, heavy rain, snow, smoke or dust clouds, or in similar circumstances.
- It may also be used on narrow roads with many curves, that is, those with a roadway 6.5 m wide or less, marked with «dangerous curves» signs. REAR FOG LIGHT: - Its installation and use is compulsory.
- It shall be red.
- It must be used compulsorily in case of THICK fog, VERY heavy rain, HEAVY snow or DENSE clouds of smoke or dust.
The front fog light, during the day, may be on alone with the position lights, but may also be used together with the dipped or main beam. At night, it shall be used at minimum with the dipped beam.
The rear fog light, during the day, shall be used at minimum together with the front fog light or the dipped beam. At night, at minimum with the dipped beam.
