Is a truck driver required to carry a reflective vest in their vehicle?
A)No.
B)No, but they may carry one when driving on an interurban road.
C)Yes.Correct
Both day and night, drivers of passenger cars, buses, goods transport vehicles, adaptable mixed-use vehicles and non-agricultural vehicle combinations, when they occupy the carriageway or hard shoulder on interurban roads, must wear an approved reflective vest. They are also required to put it on before getting out of the vehicle, and not once they are already on the carriageway or hard shoulder.
We are required to carry one in the vehicle, but it is recommended to carry two.
