When does the speed limit imposed by this sign end?
A)When you leave the through road.
B)After passing the next junction.
C)When you find an end of prohibitions sign.Correct
Maximum speed.
Prohibition of travelling at a speed, in kilometres per hour, higher than that indicated on the sign. It is binding from the point where it is located until the next 'End of speed limit', 'End of prohibitions', or another 'Maximum speed' sign.
When located on a road without priority, it ceases to be in effect upon leaving an intersection with a priority road. If the sign painted on the road surface is within a marked lane, as in the photo in the question, that maximum speed applies only to that lane, whereas if the lanes are not marked, it applies to the entire carriageway.
