Who does the officer order to stop?

A)Those approaching from the sides.
B)All road users.
C)Users approaching from both the front and the rear.Correct
An officer with one or both arms extended horizontally requires all road users approaching from directions that intersect the direction indicated by the extended arm or arms to stop, regardless of their direction of travel.
This signal remains in force even if the officer lowers their arm or arms, as long as they do not change position or make another signal.
When the officer has their arm raised vertically, all road users approaching the officer must stop, except for drivers who cannot do so safely. The stop must be made at the nearest stop line or, failing that, immediately before the officer. At an intersection, the stop must be made before entering it. Following this signal, the officer may, if applicable, indicate the place where the stop must be made.
