When parking, how many metres may you travel in reverse?
A)As many as necessary, without limit, on urban roads.
B)As many as necessary, provided it does not encroach on a road junction.
C)The minimum indispensable distance, and no more than 15 metres.Correct
As a general rule, reversing is prohibited, except in the following cases exceptionally and always covering the minimum indispensable distance: 1. As a complementary manoeuvre when stopping, parking or joining traffic. In this case the reverse distance may not exceed 15 metres nor encroach on a road junction. 2. When it is not possible to move forward or change direction or sense of travel. In this case there is no limit on the reverse distance, and it may even encroach on a road junction if necessary. The reversing manoeuvre is prohibited on dual carriageways and motorways.
