The driver of a vehicle who notices they are about to be overtaken must...
A)increase their speed.
B)turn on the right direction indicator to show that they will allow the manoeuvre.
C)move towards the right edge of the carriageway, to facilitate the manoeuvre.Correct
The driver of the vehicle being overtaken must allow and facilitate the overtaking manoeuvre. To this end, as soon as they notice that another driver following them intends to overtake their vehicle, they must keep to the right edge of the carriageway, without encroaching on walkways, pavements, platforms, hard shoulders, lanes or areas excluded or reserved for other vehicles or road users, in order to leave sufficient space to be passed comfortably. They are prohibited from performing manoeuvres that prevent or hinder the overtaking, and must not change their speed, unless a dangerous situation arises, in which case they must facilitate the return to the lane for the overtaking vehicle, either by reducing or increasing speed.
