Making a U-turn is prohibited in any situation that prevents verifying that we are not going to endanger or obstruct other road users, such as on curves and crests with reduced visibility or in the case of fog or heavy rain.
U-turns are also prohibited at:
- Level crossings (not prohibited in their vicinity).
- Tunnels, underpasses and road sections affected by the "Tunnel" sign.
- Motorways and dual carriageways, except in places enabled for doing so.
- On one-way carriageways and road sections.
- On all road sections where overtaking is prohibited, unless the U-turn is expressly authorised.
