Provided it is carried out in a suitable place, making a U-turn on a road is permitted. Making a U-turn is prohibited in any situation that prevents you from verifying that you will not endanger or obstruct other road users, such as on bends and crests with limited visibility, or in the case of fog or heavy rain. U-turns are also prohibited at: level crossings (not prohibited in their vicinity); tunnels, underpasses and road sections affected by the "Tunnel" sign; motorways and dual carriageways, except in designated places; on one-way carriageways and road sections; and on all road sections where overtaking is prohibited, unless the U-turn is expressly authorised.
