When must a vehicle that is moving out to overtake turn off its direction indicator?

A)When they have passed the vehicle and before returning to the right.
B)When they return to the right-hand lane.
C)When the lateral movement has been completed.Correct
We must warn other drivers clearly and with sufficient notice before beginning the manoeuvre, using as a general rule the vehicle's light signals or, failing that, the arm. Warnings given with the vehicle's light signals shall remain active until the manoeuvre they are signalling has been completed. When overtaking, we must signal the lateral movement to the left. Once we are in our new position we will turn it off, pass the vehicle we are overtaking, and signal again for the movement to the right.
